GreatnewMusic.com was founded by Andrea Procaccino (known as Andie Perkins to her music fans), a singer songwriter and an attorney. After making her first CD, The Mercy Seat, she soon realized that the avenues for promoting her CD to a larger audience were limited by many factors. She also discovered that there were many talented new artists that would be enjoyed by a large music audience if they had the opportunity to be heard and that there were many music lovers who were not being offered enough new music choices. So she started GreatNewMusic.com and enlisted a staff of artists and music lovers who spent over a year employing an extensive screening process- choosing only those CDs with consistently well written songs, catchy melodies and high quality production.
